This Saturday ASC San Diego Women are back at Mission Bay Stadium to play the last home match of their amazing inaugural season. They are looking to secure 3 more points in WPSL standings as they meet divisional rivals LA Galaxy San Diego starting at 4 p.m.
The two teams have met before as they previously squared off on May 18th. ASC got a first-half goal from Monica Navarro but it wasn’t enough to secure the win as LA Galaxy San Diego defeated ASC by a score of 2-1. LA Galaxy San Diego is currently 3-1-1 and are tied for second place along with the San Diego Surf.
Head coach Eloisa Borreguerro and her team have trained hard and made great strides this season. Their efforts show more each week and they are ready to finish strong. This will be a great match that is not to be missed.
